Breakfast is the quickest and most essential meal of the day. You are literally breaking a fast from your good night's sleep. Your body needs fuel after you wake; your metabolism and your digestive system need a kick-start and breakfast is the answer to these needs.

There are so many delicious and fast breakfast options! Here are just a few ideas that you can quickly make and grab to go out the door:

3. boiled eggs and apple slices

the night before, put 6 eggs in cold water in a pot and bring to a boil; remove from heat and cover for 15 minutes; run cold water over eggs to cool and keep in refrigerator until ready to use; slice a whole apple into small slices and put in baggy in the refrigerator as well. grab 2 eggs and the baggy of apples and go!

4. oatmeal with blueberries and cinnamon

bring 1-3/4 cup water and 1/2 teas salt to a boil, add 1 cup whole oats to water and turn off the heat; let this sit while you finish getting ready for your day, return to the oats and add a handful of frozen blueberries and sprinkle with cinnamon; put in small container for a warm, delicious bowl of goodness.
